Pace Performance opened the Ginetta Junior Championship season with a confident showing from its four‑driver line‑up, including returning racer Harry Bartle and newcomers Henry Carter, Kai Veitch and Pearce Wade. All four drivers are gaining valuable early‑season experience as they continue their development in the UK’s longest‑running and most prestigious junior motorsport series. The Ginetta Junior Championship remains a key stepping stone for 14–17‑year‑olds, running alongside the British GT Championship and offering young drivers a competitive platform to progress.
Silverstone, a circuit deeply rooted in Ginetta history, once again delivered close racing and memorable moments. Having hosted more than 175 Ginetta UK Championship races, it has become a key feature on the Junior Championship calendar with races every year since the series began in 2005.
Across the triple‑header weekend on 25–26 April, Pace Performance drivers demonstrated strong pace and consistency. Bartle secured his first double pole position and went on to claim his maiden Ginetta Junior victory with quick, decisive moves during Race 2. The finish was closely contested, with just 0.073s separating the top two across the line. Bartle also earned the Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award after setting the quickest lap of the event in Race 3.
Alongside Bartle’s breakthrough result, rookies Carter, Veitch and Wade delivered encouraging performances as they settled into the championship. Carter made one of the standout climbs of the weekend, rising from 28th to 14th in Race 2. Veitch and Wade continued to build confidence and racecraft, gaining valuable track time and contributing to a positive opening round for the team.
With the season now underway, all four drivers remain focused on continued progression and strong results as the Ginetta Junior Championship campaign gathers momentum. Pace Performance leaves Silverstone with a solid foundation and a clear sense of forward drive as they push ahead into the next rounds.
