GB4 Championship: A Season of Growth, Grit and Opportunity

McLean P1 Win at Oulton Park for GB4 Championships

8 June 2026

This year’s GB4 Championship has quickly become one of the most exciting places for rising single‑seater talent to prove themselves. The series continues to offer young drivers an accessible way into racing, along with a competitive environment where pure ability really shows.

As we head into the decisive part of the season, there’s a real sense of momentum in the paddock. GB4 is cementing its place as the perfect launchpad for future GB3 drivers. At Pace Performance, we’re proud to help shape the next wave of racing talent. Josh McLean showed exactly what that looks like at Oulton Park, making two brilliant starts in the final race of the weekend and taking a well‑earned win in race three by 1.368 seconds. And with that, ending the race weekend with a P1 podium this season.

Every round this year has delivered standout podiums, big mid‑season improvements and teams finding impressive performance gains. With such quick turnarounds between sessions, drivers have to adapt fast, and that adaptability is something we focus on heavily in our coaching. For us, this environment is ideal. It lets us work closely with drivers who are passionate and committed to building the foundations of a professional career.

One of the highlights of the GB4 Championship has been its competitive balance. With multiple teams capable of winning on any weekend, drivers are pushed to develop not just speed but resilience. From data work to mental preparation, we’ve seen our supported drivers grow into more complete athletes, carrying real momentum into strong results. Follow Pace Performance this season as there’s plenty more to come from our three‑driver lineup.
