GB4 Championships returns to the Silverstone Circuit

GB4 Championship 2026 Pace Performance

13 April 2026

The GB4 Championship roared back into action at Silverstone, delivering an electric season opener and a strong start for our Pace Performance trio. Driver 17-John O’Donnell, 18-Torrin Byrne and 76-Josh McLean hit the track with confidence and determination. McLean returns to the championship this year, while O’Donnell builds on his debut at Donington Park last season and Byrne makes the leap from Ginetta Juniors into single‑seaters for the first time. Together, they form an internationally diverse and passionate line‑ups on the grid.

The opening rounds set the tone for a season that demands far more than raw speed. Success in GB4 is the product of collective expertise, discipline and relentless preparation. Behind every lap is a team working with precision. Engineers fine-tune setups and the mechanics ensure every component is reliable under pressure. As the paddock looks ahead to the 2026 season, teams are already deep into refining their operations and pushing for every competitive edge.

Adam Westerby, Team Manager commented: “The team are coming into the 2026 season on the front foot, with an extensive off season test schedule completed. We have had the chance to reflect and analyse a successful debut season in single seaters last year. This has given us valuable experience to build upon and challenge for results throughout 2026.”

Engineering excellence remains the backbone of performance, with engineers and drivers working side by side to perfect balance, aerodynamic efficiency and overall performance response.

Driver development is equally crucial. Structured coaching programmes, simulator sessions, and detailed debriefs help drivers refine race craft, build mental resilience, and adapt to evolving race scenarios. This holistic approach ensures they are not only fast but consistently progressing.
